Hi y'all! Hope you've had a fantastic day! We spent today traveling down south, which is full of all sorts of mountainous majesty, front porches, and good 'ol home cooking. That might sound like we are stereotyping but it is true in the best way possible. We started in Tennessee (of course I had to go there when I told Pat he is the "only Ten I see!") and we got to experience the time zone change which gained us an hour (it was kind of a strange feeling) then we made our way to the Unclaimed Baggage store in Alabama where we found out the ORIGINAL Hoggle from Labyrinth lives!!!!! Dance magic dance, y'all!
We also bought some new art and some other stuff so that was definitely a success if you ask us!
Then we continued through Alabama, Mississippi, and made our way to lovely Louisiana. We are in New Orleans staying at this amazing hotel that we found on Hotels Tonight. It is perfect. They have brick walls, a courtyard, a hotel cat named Patrick (leave it to us to pick the only hotel with a resident kitty!) he is safe in the hotel grounds walls, fed special food, there is a sign about him, and he gets to come inside as he pleases. He pretty much had it made!
When we got up to our room, they brought us champagne as a wedding gift! Of course we don't drink but we will certainly keep it always as a reminder of this beautiful city!!!
Tomorrow: Dallas for the Circa show! So excited!
