Phoenix Impressions

Greetings! We hope you are all having a great week in preparation for Thanksgiving! Today was pretty much entirely spent trying to escape California. We use the word escape because our GPS just kept adding hours onto our route out. Of our entire roadtrip thus far, California had the most traffic and the craziest drivers.
Pretty much sums up sitting in California traffic.

Right before we left we made our way south towards Anaheim to get a couple of Disneyland photos for a certain brother/brothers-in-law who may or may not be related to Mr. Disney.

We had no intentions of actually going to Disneyland (although after just 10 minutes here we wish we did give ourselves time to go!--next time!) and we tried to get as far in as we could without having to buy tickets (partly because we parked in a McDonalds lot across the street and partly because we had to stash Pat's work knife, which he had in his pocket, in a potted plant outside of the bag check line...) Unfortunately we couldn't get a view of the Fire House on Main Street, but we may have gotten the roof?

          But then again...maybe not?

From here we ate some lunch and we're back on the road. Gotta say, traveling, even in traffic becomes a hilarious, dance party, philosophical talk, laugh session when you are with the right person. So excited to be on this trip of a lifetime with my person.

We realize this was a bit of an uneventful post but we just wanted to let everyone know we are safe and sound in Phoenix!

It is about 10:30 Arizona time and we are listening to Snoop Dogg's Drop It Like It's Hot, about to pull up to our hotel for some much anticipated snuggles and Zzzzzz!

Don't forget everyone, snnooooooooOOOP!

Love and sweet dreams,
The Casales
xoxo

We have been collecting pens from all of the hotels<3
