Greetings from Dallas

Evenin' y'all! Today was another amazing day! Gotta say, New Orleans was one of our favorite places, hands down. We started our day there and walked around. We went to this adorable little coffee shop and had some of the best lattes ever. Then we went to see the Mississippi River!

 
After this we were back on the road. We were a little bit nervous about the sketchy weather on our way to Texas. The weather reports were riddled with flood warnings and an intimidating tornado watch.  To be perfectly honest, we spent the drive making Twister references and planning what to do if a tornado became a present issue and I think we both wish we got to see one. SEE, one.

After the rain came the beautiful sunset as we entered TEXAS! 

We went to dinner at Crackerbarrel and made it to House of Blues in Dallas to see Circa Survive, RX Bandits, and a (somewhat) surprise performance by The Sound of Animals Fighting. They were all amazing, but Circa absolutely KILLED IT. They were so freaking good, and there was tons of confetti, and giant balloons, we were sad it had to end! 

After that we mosied on down to JACK IN THE BOX!!!! 

Brought it back to our cute little apartment hotel and now we are off to snuggle and start anther perfect day, starting with Roswell, NM!
